Within its own leadership, the MTA WA is proud to have a Board of Directors that is headed by a 40% female team. Here’s an insight into the personal causes they are passionate about:

Mrs. Robyn Cook, Director on the Board of the MTA WA

Mrs. Cook owns the largest retail tyre store in the Peel Region and has been trading for 25 years, which has now put her in a position which enables her to raise funds for breast cancer research.

Mrs. Moira D’Cruze, Treasurer on the Board of the MTA WA

Mrs. D’Cruze owns and manages Wembley Autocare, and she is particularly interested in advocating for women in the automotive industry, as well as representing independent and family-owned businesses.

Ms. Georgie Withers, Director on the Board of the MTA WA

Ms. Withers is the Head of People and Safety at Eagers Automotive and she is passionate about inspiring, motivating and connecting aspiring automotive female leaders through the Fearless Female Forum that she established within her organisation.

Dr. Irene Ioannakis, Director on the Board of the MTA WA

Dr. Ioannakis uses her extensive experience and her position on the MTA WA Board to execute her passionate pursuit for quality vocational education and training outcomes for students and trainers.

These hard-working women are the businesswomen that are not only making an impact in the industry through their business, but who also sacrifice their time to inform the MTA WA’s direction, for the benefit of the automotive industry.
