The Repco Bathurst 1000 is one of the most iconic motor racing events in the world. Every year, the racing grounds are transformed into a festival of motorsport, which is held annually at one of the most challenging and unique racetracks in the world - the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales.
The Mount Panorama Circuit is a 6.213-kilometer circuit that snakes its way around and through a mountainside. The race offers a thrilling spectacle with its long and steep climbs, fast straights, and tight hairpin turns – providing a true test of driver skill and vehicle performance.
This year, the event celebrates its 60th anniversary. As per usual, it is expected to host some of the biggest names in Australian and international motorsport, which attracts thousands of fans and competitors from all over the world. The action is scheduled to take place from October 5 to 8.
The MTA WA Member-Competition Prize
In 2023, one lucky MTA WA draw winner will be the recipient of 2 free passes to this year’s greatest motorsport event. What to Expect
As always, the main event of the Repco Bathurst 1000 will be the 1000-kilometer endurance race that takes place on the final day of the event. In addition to the main endurance race, the Repco Bathurst 1000 will also feature a number of support races and activities. There will be qualifying races, practice sessions, and other events leading up to the main race. Fans will have plenty of opportunities to see their favourite drivers and teams in action, in between perusing through merchandise, enjoying from a range of food vendors, chatting over a drink and checking out other attractions.
