Around 20 Apprentices and 8 leaders from WA franchise dealership groups (see below) were provided the opportunity to meet with Minister for Small and Family Business, Skills and Vocational Education, Michaelia Cashlast Wednesday, as she joined MTA WA Group CEO Stephen Moir to hear, on a first-hand basis, the needs and concerns of the Apprentice, Training and Franchise Dealership sectors.

Clearly, the thoughts and feelings of those whom she spoke to were heard at the highest levels of Government, as those issues were further addressed by Prime Minister Scott Morrison last night at a Liberal Party event, which Stephen Moir attended.

Speaking to Prime Minister Morrison and Senator Mathias Cormann last night, Mr.Moir was assured that the discussed issues were being considered and addressed. This not only confirmed Minister Cash's assurances, but further consolidated the interests of MTA WA Members, proving that they are the most influential motoring collective in WA.

Minister Cash also conducted a press conference during her visit, providing an energetic buzz within the MTA WA's Automotive Institute of Technology Balcatta facility. Automotive Training Institute Trainer Ange Joyce-Fay was also personally addressed by Minister Cash, with her journey through the Automotive industry noted as an example of career achievement for the Apprentices in attendance.
